Queen Alia International Airport (the RJ hub) is located 30 km south of Jordan 's capital, Amman . Royal Jordanian ensures transportation to/from the airport is as easy as possible, via its bus shuttle service that departs every 30 minutes from Amman City Terminal to QAIA and vise versa. A minimal rate of JD 2 (US$2.82) is charged.
- Passengers from Amman can simply head towards RJ's City Terminal on the Seventh Circle , from where they can take shuttle buses to QAIA.
- Passengers from Irbid (around 70 km north of Amman ) can find regular shuttle buses at JD 1 (US$ 1.41). There is also a good highway for driving passengers.
- Passengers from Zarka ( 25 km northeast of Amman ) have all-day buses to/from the capital as well as good highways for drivers.
- For passengers from Aqaba, connecting flights from King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba to QAIA in Amman are available, as well as regular shuttle buses, at a cost of just under JD 7 (US$ 10) between the two cities. Good highways also connect Aqaba and Amman for those who prefer to drive.
- Passengers from As Salt (almost 15 km northwest of Amman) have daily buses and good roads to connect them to the Jordanian capital.
